Antropoceno e a Consciência Artística Global: Do Paleolítico à Sabedoria Ancestral da Floresta Amazônica

Art plays a decisive role in debates about the Anthropocene, revealing awareness of a human-caused crisis and exposing disappointment with the civilizational order. Paleolithic art already demonstrated a humble and grateful human consciousness in the face of the grandeur of animals and nature. In the contemporary world, art influenced by Indigenous and shamanic traditions uses a language that, rather than focusing on destruction and extinction, offers beauty and harmony with the cosmos, providing hope for a truly humanized consciousness and exercising conscious critique of the Anthropocene. Evidence of this phenomenon is the global popularization of ayahuasca, which has moved from Latin American forests to major centers in Europe and North America, inspiring many artists and fostering an artistic-political debate connecting ecology, cosmic harmony, and cultural plurality.
