The Mystery of Death: An Informational Theory of Consciousness Beyond Biological Life

Death is reexamined not merely as biological termination but as a possible transition in the informational organization of conscious systems. The paper proposes a theoretical framework interpreting consciousness as an informational phenomenon rather than a purely biological byproduct, building on the Primordial Informational State framework. Reality is seen as an evolving hierarchy of informational structures where matter, life, mind, and intelligence emerge as complex manifestations of information organization. Concepts such as Informational Identity, Consciousness Stratification, Informational Attachment, Post-Biological Consciousness, and Cosmic Mind Integration are introduced. The model speculates that consciousness may access increasingly larger informational domains after death, potentially integrating with broader cosmic structures, though it lacks direct empirical verification.
