GLOBAL JOURNAL FOR RESEARCH ANALYSIS November 15, 2022 Riya Gupta, Rishika Singh, Yashdeep Solanki 1 citation

Dissociative trance and possession disorder is frequently encountered in clinical settings and is often difficult for clinicians to distinguish from psychotic disorder. The condition has also been linked to non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors. This report describes a 24-year-old married woman who was four months pregnant and diagnosed with trance and possession disorder, with a history of adverse pregnancy outcomes. She received treatment on an outpatient basis.
