Trauma is often understood as a shock that ruptures experience, but this inquiry tests that model by examining the inner structures of attention (as open awaiting) and emotion (as perduring resonance). Integrating microphenomenological subjective reports with neuro and physiological data, the work aims to renew understanding of the blank lived experience of trauma and the passive preconscious dynamics of traumatism, and to generate possible therapeutic effects.
