Seeing the Divine in the World: The Vibhuti Yoga of the Tenth Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita as a Framework for Sacramental Vision and Ecological Ethics

The Tenth Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, known as Vibhuti Yoga, provides a philosophical framework for perceiving the divine as present within the natural and social world. Krishna's enumeration of divine manifestations offers a non-utilitarian ethical foundation for ecological responsibility, mental well-being, and value-based conduct. A qualitative exploratory analysis using SWOC and ABCD frameworks shows that this vision shifts human orientation from exploitation to reverence, strengthening ecological ethics and psychological well-being. The study concludes that Vibhuti Yoga offers a coherent ethical model relevant to contemporary environmental consciousness, education, and societal transformation.
