The Psychotherapy in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy

The validity of clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD depends heavily on the quality of the psychotherapy component, which has been underappreciated in evaluations of the evidence. The authors argue that the psychotherapy itself must be carefully examined to properly interpret trial results and that its role is critical yet often overlooked.
